    Description
This project will develop local and regional map- based legacy road adaptation tools by building upon two recent FP Innovations (FPI) project deliverables completed for the Ministry of Forests… At the local scale, this research aims to improve upon FPI’s stability indicator…at the provincial scale, FPI will focus on the climate change component of the research by partnering with Pacific Climate Impacts Consortium (PCIC) to post process a climate indicator for BC that relates to landslides and update FPI’s Climate Vulnerability Forest Management (CVFM) tool to reference this indicator. Also, an inventory of legacy roads for BC with a classification scheme will be assembled using open source roads database and terrain slope information. After feedback, and related experimental inventory, maps will also be produced that visualise how including additional types of road hazard attributes- and combining these alongside climate indicators in different ways- can produce various results.'
