Description
BC Timber Sales has legal obligations to maintain access infrastructure to meet all FRPA and SAFETY (WCB/BC Safe Company) requirements. The East Kootenay Field Team (EKFT) manages hundreds of km’s of resource roads annually. BCTS will work with the Contractor to ensure that road maintenance standards are achieved. This is a solicitation for the repair of three (3) BCTS bridges as well as a washout repair.
The repair of three Ministry Bridges which are currently rated at 5t, as well as the repair of a historic washout that has left the road at <5m. The objective is to optimize the driving safety of each road section that forms this contract and allow for industrial traffic.
Cranbrook, British Columbia will be considered the Marshalling Point for this contract.
Project specifications can be found in Schedule I of this contract.
