Description
Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Forests is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to WBC Contracting Ltd. (the “Supplier”).
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
As and When low bedding of equipment
As and When front end loader works
As and When crane trucks deliveries
As and when fire suppression equipment and suppliesThe term of the contract is expected to be until March 31st, 2026.
The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes $100,000.00 with no promise of any work.
The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
Isolated location of works – Bella Coola Valley Immediate response times (being local) Considered sole source as only Lowbed, front end loader, skidder with water tank in the valley.
NOTE: “Until further notice, any challenge brought by a U.S. Supplier to this Notice of Intent will be disregarded and not be considered
