Description
Notice is hereby given that the Province of British Columbia, as represented by the Ministry of Forests, is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Ecora Engineering & Resource Group Ltd. (the “Supplier”) due to their employee Craig Delong, RPBio, being a key person for this contract. The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
The purpose of this project is to clarify the spatial delineation of Natural Disturbance Unit sub-units as described in Craig Delong’s 2011 report “Land Units and Benchmarks for Developing Natural Disturbance-based Forest Management Guidance for Northeastern British Columbia”. The deliverables would include (1) a repeatable, written description of methodologies used to delineate Natural Disturbance Unit sub-units in Craig Delong’s 2011 report, (2) a spatial dataset of Natural Disturbance Unit sub-units that is consistent with this methodology, and (3) implementation advice for Delong’s research.
