    MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING
    Bidders must attend a site visit on the specified date and time below:
    Date: Wednesday, September 13, 2023
    Time: 2:00 pm PT
    Location of Site Meeting: 1985 Wallace St., Vancouver, BC

    Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.

    A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.

    All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.

    Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Please note the hoarded area is considered a moderate risk asbestos area. For entry into this area contractors will need to supply their own PPE (half-face respirator with P100 filters and Tyvek coveralls). Entry into the fire damaged moderate risk area will not be possible for bidders who do not have appropriate PPE.

    Brief Description of Work
    The work includes Abatement and Tenant Belonging Recovery and as further set out at Appendices:
    1. Appendix E – Specifications and Drawings
    2. Appendix H – Photos

    The fire started in unit 214 and affected units 213, 215, 216, 249, 250, 251, 252, 2nd floor east and west corridors, common area, 2nd floor east fire exit, 312, 313, 314 and the main floor east corridor. This project is to provide construction services for abatement, soot and smoke damage remediation and cleaning services to recover tenant belongings.
