MANDATORY INFORMATION MEETING

Site visits begin promptly at the time, date and location specified above.
A sign-in sheet will be provided, and all Bidders are required to sign in. Note that submissions will only be reviewed for those Bidders who have attended and signed the sign-in sheet. No exceptions to this will be permitted.
All questions and enquiries from the site visit must be submitted to the ITT Contact person prior to the date and time as per section 3.2 Timetable.
Representatives of your firm attending a site visit must provide and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Brief Description of Work
The scope of work is the roof replacement at 333 Martin Street, Penticton, a five-storey senior care facility which includes 85 suites made up of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. There is also an office, common areas, a kitchen, laundry room and retail units including a pub on the ground floor. The low-rise complex consists of four flat roof areas over 3 attached building sections of different elevations (lower, middle and upper roofs). There is also an additional single-story office (office roof) that is located between the upper and mid sections of the facility.
The scope of work includes, but not limited to, the roof system replacement and insulation renewal. Other works includes repairs to perimeter upstand walls, metal flashing and scuppers. There will be management and coordination with telecommunication equipment on the roof. A Telecommunication Contractor will be retained separately by the Owner.
The Contractor must be a member in good standing with RCABC, and able to provide the RCABC RoofStar Ten (10) -Year Guarantee. The Contractor must complete and submit to RCABC the RoofStar Guarantee Assignment Form, project documents and confirm or update the final roof contract value at the completion of the work.
The Building Owner will purchase the RoofStar Guarantee directly from RCABC Guarantee Corp. (RGC), including the Guarantee Fee, Roof Observations, and the Performance Reviews. The cost of the guarantee is excluded from the Bid Price. Contractors may include a cost for necessary administration.
