Young Parent Program in Tri-Cities and Ridge Meadows

Description
The Ministry of Children and Family Development (Ministry) is soliciting proposals from qualified Proponent(s) to provide services for Young Parent Program in North Fraser Service Delivery Area. The target population includes young adults 25 years of age and under, who have a child under the age of 6, who need extra support, child development information and possible referrals to other programs.
Full implementation of services is required by October 1, 2023. The successful Proponent will have the capacity to deliver the required services, within the time frame cited.
The maximum budget allocated for these services is $187,000.00 annually. Funding for fiscal year 2023-2024 includes all the applicable components of wage increases. Effective April 1, 2024, contract funds will be eligible for any applicable mandated wage increases including funds issued as a result of the Ministry’s option to renew the contract.
The Ministry anticipates entering a contract with one Proponent that demonstrate the ability to meet the requirements outlined. Successful Proponent will require the capacity to commence delivery of the required services within the time frame cited.
The contract term is anticipated to be October 1,2023 to March 31, 2025, with an option to renew for two additional one-year terms at the sole discretion of the Ministry. Evaluation of the resulting services will be part of the Contract, including evaluation to ensure services were implemented as planned.
