Notice is hereby given, that the City of Maple Ridge (the City) is a member of Sourcewell, formerly known as the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA), Canoe Procurement Group of Canada, formerly known as RMA Trade and Kinetic GPO, and is eligible to procure through the cooperative contracts that are administered by Sourcewell, Canoe and Kinetic GPO, (GPOs collectively). The term of this participation is from November 9, 2022 to November 8, 2023 and may be extended annually. For further information and access to the GPOs tender notices, please review the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the MERX website at www.merx.com.

The GPOs are service cooperatives created to provide programs and services to members in the government, education, and nonprofit sectors. Its statutory purpose is to assist members in meeting specific needs which are more efficiently delivered cooperatively than by an entity individually. In addition, for Canadian compliance a Canadian member's ability to use Sourcewell/Canoe/Kinetic GPO contracts depends on the agency's local guidelines/regulations.
