The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) using BC Bid.
The proposed contract requires a British Columbia Land Surveyor to undertake surveys and to prepare survey plans pursuant to the Land Act and Land Title Act (whichever applicable), for registration within the Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia.
The lands for which Survey Services are required were statutorily transferred to the Uchucklesaht Tribe on the Effective Date of the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement (April 1, 2011) and as part of the treaty, the Province has a commitment to survey these lands.
The lands that form this Request for Proposal which are required to be surveyed are identified in the Survey Instructions (File Nos. 0889846, 0889811) as:Survey of All Former Provincial Lands Shown on Appendix B - 4, Part 2(a), Plans 2, 4, & 5, Known as Elhlateese Site 1, in the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement. Survey of All Former Provincial Lands Shown on Appendix Map B-4, Part 2(a), Plan 4, Known as West Henderson Lake Site 3, in the Maa-nulth First Nations Final Agreement.The surveys of the above noted lands are anticipated to take place over two Fiscal Years, commencing in Fiscal Year 2026/27.  The term of the contract will be set to expire on March 31, 2028.
