City of Prince George (City) is seeking proposals for the supply and installation of one bolted glass-fused-to-steel above ground tank reservoir, for potable water with a usable capacity of 4,400m3 on a concrete foundation with access ladder, security enclosure, hatches, dome walkway with handrail and stairs, and all stainless-steel piping/fixtures.

Contractor to provide:
  • Design, supply, and installation of concrete foundation and Glass Fused Bolted Steel reservoir.
  • Supply and installation of tank insulation and cladding
  • Supply and installation of 150mm thick granular base gravels below the tank slab and foundation.
  • Supply and installation of tank overflow and drainage piping to limits shown.
  • Supply and installation of internal stainless piping.
  • Regrading / reshaping of site following installation of the reservoir foundation.
The supply and installation of the new glass fused bolted steel water reservoir is part of a larger project.  The City will separately engage a civil contractor to prepare the site for the installation of the reservoir.  The civil contractor will be responsible for installing watermain, drainage piping and constructing the access road from Boundary Road to the reservoir site, as well as preparing the reservoir pad and installing the control valve structure.
