In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
Rationale
NHA requires the S3 object cloud storage system to archive its data that is older than 30 days. Wasabi is the only vendor that satisfies all of the following technical requirements:

PHSA will review any and all issues received by this date and provide due consideration to each objection.

- Due to the absence of competition for technical reasons.
Rationale
NHA requires the S3 object cloud storage system to archive its data that is older than 30 days. Wasabi is the only vendor that satisfies all of the following technical requirements:
- The service integrates with our existing backup software (Veeam)
- The service is S3 compatible
- Flat fee service without ingress/egress fees (adding or removing data)
- The service provides data immutability (data cannot be changed or deleted)
- The service is hosted offsite within a Canadian datacenter
- The service must be available over the Internet
