Description
Notice is hereby given that INTERIOR HEALTH AUTHORITY (the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide PCR Consumables for a term of one (1) year and three (3) months at an estimated value of $1,273,058.

PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason
Interior Health Authority require consumables from Seegene Canada since IHA has validated these products for use on PCR equipment that has strict requirements for operation. Due to this validation, it is imperative that the labs continue to have access to these consumables in order to adhere to current operational procedures so that operational stability can be maintained.

PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason
- the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason:
- To ensure compatibility with existing equipment.
- to ensure the continued supply of these essential products to the Health Authority with stable pricing, we will direct award the above non-volume committed contract(s) until PHSA completes an upcoming competitive process for future contracts
