The certified Advanced Security Training (AST) instructors must have the minimum requirements as follows:

• Must be an approved AST instructor with the Justice Institute of BC (JIBC),
• Must meet all facilitation and certification requirements as stipulated by the JIBC,
• Must provide all training locally (within the lower mainland),
• Must provide appropriate and safe training space and all required materials,
• Must be able to provide continual training from November 2023 through to March 2024 in order to facilitate training of up to 500 people (the Health Authorities do NOT garauntee a minimum number of participants)
  
  Must be willing to coordinate with representatives of the Health Authority's and their partners and be flexible and adaptable with participant scheduling.
