General Contractor (GC) for UBC MAIC Wave Pool

This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a concrete water tank within existing lab space of room 120 om the Civil & Mechanical engineering Laboratories Building of UBC (also known as CEME Rusty Hut).

The project involves modifications to the existing building structure, construction of the concrete
foundations and tank walls, along with mechanical and electrical changes to suit the re-purposed space.

Anticipated construction start is September 28th, 2026 and completion by March 20th, 2027.

Chandos Construction is acting as a Construction Manager for and on Behalf of UBC and is issuing a Request for Tender (RFT) for this project.

All drawings and specifications will be available through the BuildingConnected website. This online bid
management system is free for respondents and will require a short signup process if your company has
not created a profile.
