Consulting Services - Playground Assessment Review

DNV Parks is seeking a qualified playground consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of all playgrounds and their components within DNV Parks, in accordance with CSA guidelines. The consultant will assess the condition of each playground and its individual components, providing detailed current asset costing for each item in addition to 2025 replacement value costs (CRV).  For the purposes of this review, DNV playground assets are defined as the following:

•    Playground equipment (all components)
•    Surfacing materials
•    Edge treatments (e.g., wood, plastic borders)
•    Ramps and handrails
•    Fencing

The consultant will be expected to provide a thorough evaluation of each component’s condition including three matrices: Physical condition, demand/capacity, and functionality (refer to Appendix B) and associated costs, (CRV) offering recommendations for any necessary repairs, replacements, or upgrades.
