Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre - Ice Arena Renewal Design Build

The District invites detailed Proposals from qualified organization (“Proponents”) with expertise in ice arena design and construction for the provision Design Build services for the replacement of Karen Magnussen Ice Arena floor slab, brine circulation piping and dasher board systems. The summary of scope requires full removal of existing under ice surface concrete slab components and associated infrastructure to be replaced with a modern under ice surface concrete slab and chilling components such as the brine pipes and headers as well as removal and replacement of the dasher board and glass system. The player boxes and penalty/timekeeper boxes are considered to be included in the dasher board system.    Proponents interested in this opportunity are invited to submit a Proposal.   The Canadian Free Trade Agreement is the applicable trade agreement for this RFP.
