Description
The City of Prince Rupert has experienced decreased reliability of its SCADA communication network, and so is pursuing a complete replacement of its SCADA communications system. The replacement system will utilize SCADA radio communications between operating sites to reliably relay data to City operators.
The intent of this RFP is to obtain an offer to design and construct work to install two new 30 meter tall radio towers for a Stipulated Price contract. The towers are to be located on Shawatlan Hill, on the mainland to the east of the City across Fern Passage, and at Montreal Circle, within the City proper. Specifications and details governing the placement, design, and construction of these towers is provided in the attached RFP documentation.
