Project Derscription: The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (“Legislative Assembly”) is seeking a qualified professional consultant (“Consultant”) to perform a current condition assessment of surface and subsurface drainage, foundation waterproofing and damp proofing (“Systems”) serving the Parliament Buildings as well as the Bunker Building, and to some extent the Armouries Building on the Legislative Precinct (collectively, the “Buildings”), and may require a current condition assessment of the Systems serving other areas of the Precinct such as Confederation Garden Park located west of the Parliament Buildings across Menzies Street. If proceeding with construction, the Legislative Assembly may request that the awarded Consultant provide related follow-on consulting services and act as the Prime Consultant.
Site Tour: A Mandatory Proponent Meeting will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 @ 1:00 pm. Meet on the front steps of the Parliament Buildings located at 501 Belleville Street, Victoria, B.C. Refer to RFP amendments for applicable updates.
Confidentiality Agreement: Appendix D contains the confidentiality agreement that must be signed and submitted before the mandatory site tour begins. Additional information on the project is included in the Confidential Information Set (the “CIS” or “Confidential Information Set”), which will only be provided to Proponents who are interested in submitting a proposal and only after they have signed a confidentiality agreement. Proposals must consider all information included in this RFP as well as the CIS document in order to be considered.
