    Description
The Ministry of Emergency Management and Climate Readiness (Ministry) requires a Hazard and Risk Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA) to enhance its disaster prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.

The Ministry is relatively new, a ministry-wide HRVA is required to provide a comprehensive understanding of the risks that could disrupt operations and impact ability to deliver on the ministry mandate.

By systematically identifying hazards — whether natural, technological, or human-caused—and assessing their potential likelihood and consequences, a clearer picture of where the Ministry is most vulnerable will be gained.

This process ensures the Ministry is not only aware of the risks but can also anticipate how they may affect ministry people, services, and critical functions.
