The BC Timber Sales Seaward (tlasta) Business Area is seeking a qualified Contractor for Multi-Phase Area Development (MPAD) services. Development activities include but are not limited to: operational planning, preliminary timber reconnaissance, forest road layout/design, cutblock layout, site level assessments, timber cruising, helipad construction and danger tree falling (specific to the MPAD project area), production of Cutblock and Road Site Plans, production of development maps, and post-harvest assessments as requested.
The intent of this Single Use Request for Qualifications (SURFQ) is to assess the Respondent’s overall organizational capacity, stability, and suitability to successfully deliver a MPAD contract, including the ability to plan, coordinate, staff, and adapt across multiple operating areas and timelines. Respondents are encouraged to emphasize experience and capacity most relevant to coastal, remote, or environmentally sensitive operating areas.
Interested suppliers are invited to submit a Response to this SURFQ for the opportunity to be evaluated and determined if they will pre-qualify and be shortlisted as Qualified Respondents to be eligible to put in a proposal to a subsequent Solicitation, if any. Only Qualified Respondents will be sent and may respond to a subsequent Solicitation, if any.
