Description
The Ministry of Forests is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Heavy Equipment operators for Wildfire Suppression Rehabilitation Services within the Stuart Nechako Natural Resource District for the 2023 Finger/Tatuk Lake wildfire G41307. Works include road deactivation and land rehabilitation as a result of fire suppression activities.
Works include but are not limited to:
-restoring natural drainage
-minimizing surface erosion
-minimizing any created fuel hazards
-stabilizing soils
-stream restoration
-grass seeding
-deactivating modified roads from fire suppression activities
-installing culverts
Accordingly, the proponent is expected to work closely together with forestry professionals within the Ministry of Forests.
