City of Prince George invites bids from contractors for the provision of all materials, labour, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of the existing Southridge Avenue watermain system by trenchless technology as per the drawings and specifications outlined herein on a non-exclusive basis.
The respective amounts of Work to be done and materials to be furnished under this Contract with respect of each of the items described in detail in the specifications have been preliminarily estimated as set forth in the Schedule of Prices and this estimate will be used as a basis for comparing tenders. The City does not expressly nor by implication agree that the actual amounts of Work or of materials of any class will correspond even approximately to this estimate but reserves the right to increase or decrease the amounts of any class or portion of the work in its interest. The Contractor shall make no claim for anticipated profits, for loss of profit, for damages, or for any extra payment whatsoever, except as provided for herein, because of any difference between the amounts of Work actually done or material actually furnished, and the estimated amounts as herein set forth.

It is suggested that Bidders review the ITT carefully before attending the meeting. Questions will be allowed at the Bidders’ meeting. However, questions of a complex nature, or questions where the Bidder requires anonymity, should be submitted through the Bidding System, ideally prior to the meeting, as described under 2.2, below.
