    Description

    The department of Community Services and Professional Licensing and Regulatory Affairs are seeking engagement consultant services to plan and facilitate engagement with First Nations, licensed health professionals, and the public. The purpose of this engagement is to seek recommendations to support the modernization of the Health Professions Act which regulates licensed health professionals in the Yukon. 

    The work will physically take place in:

    Communities:

    • Whitehorse

    Traditional Territories:

    • Kwanlin Dün First Nation
    • Ta’an Kwäch’än Council

    There will be a requirement to engage virtually with people from the following communities:

    • Beaver Creek
    • Burwash Landing
    • Carcross
    • Carmacks
    • Dawson City
    • Faro
    • Haines Junction
    • Mayo
    • Old Crow
    • Pelly Crossing
    • Ross River
    • Teslin
    • Watson Lake

    Traditional Territories:

    • Carcross/Tagish First Nation
    • Champagne and Aishihik First Nations
    • First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun
    • Kluane First Nation
    • Liard First Nation
    • Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation
    • Ross River Dena Council

    • Teslin Tlingit Council
    • Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in
    • Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation
    • White River First Nation

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 12 month(s).
