    REQUIREMENT :
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is issuing a Call for Proposals (CFP) for the pilot Procurement and Operationalization of Innovation and New Technology (POINT) initiative under the Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS) Program, supported by the Bureau of Research, Engineering and Advanced Leadership in Innovation and Science (BOREALIS).

    The solicitation for this requirement is seeking offers for solutions to the Challenge titled “Sentinel Shield: Wide-area Detection for Early Warning Against Uncrewed Aerial Systems”. Solutions must have successfully completed Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 and be ready to advance to TRL 6 or higher in order to be considered.

    This procurement is to be carried out in two phases:

    • Phase 1- Build & Test (TRL 6-9)
    • Phase 2- Acquisition

    FUNDING MECHANISM: Contract

    ESTIMATED MAXIUMUM BUDGET
    The estimated maximum total combined budget available for all resulting contracts under Phase 1 - Build & Test is $10,000,000.00 (applicable taxes, travel, living and shipping excluded).

    The estimated maximum budget available for each individual Phase 1 - Build & Test contract is $1,000,000.00 (applicable taxes, travel, living and shipping excluded).

    The estimated maximum budget available for Phase 2- Acquisition is $20,000,000.00 (applicable taxes, travel, living and shipping excluded) for a sufficient number of units to cover up to 27 sites of at least 10 km radius each.

    This disclosure is made in good faith and does not commit Canada to contract for the total approximate budget.

    Should fiscal funding no longer be available, Offerors will be notified directly. The Contract Award Process will continue and proposals under contract negotiations will take priority when funding is available.

    Multiple contracts could result from this requirement.

    This estimated budget is not a contract guarantee. Conditionally qualified proposals that are matched and selected for contract award may not necessarily receive the total maximum contract value. Individual contract values will be negotiated during the Contract Award Process.

    All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority at: TPSGC.PAIDEES-APIDEAS.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than seven business days before the Notice closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
