Transport Canada (TC) has a requirement to migrate 221 Oracle databases currently on premise AIX Oracle 19c environment to a PostgreSQL on premise environment in Shared Services Canada (SSC) Enterprise Data Centre (EDC) Gatineau.
TC requires tasks for database environment architecture, project coordination, database configuration, optimization and automation, implementation best practices for database auditing, and installing and configuring PostgreSQL open source software.
Part of the requirement will also ensure that all the applications associated with the databases are refactored, tested and redeployed.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s).
