RFQ 8452 - La Ronge Long Term Care Centre

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is an invitation by the Government of Saskatchewan (GOS) to prospective Respondents to respond to the provision of the La Ronge Long Term Care Centre as further described in the RFQ Particulars (Appendix A).

Interested Proponents submitting responses for the project will be required to provide a submission. Based on the submissions, GOS intends to select, by the terms of this RFQ, a prequalified list of up to three Proponents to be invited to participate in the next phase of the competitive selection process.

Additional Information:
The project will include construction of a new long -term care centre to increase the existing 16 LTC beds to 80 beds. The Project will also improve several program areas, including Home Care, Therapies, an Adult Day Program, and Dialysis.

A critical aspect of the Project is that the existing Health Centre must remain in operation during construction. A detailed execution plan is crucial and required to meet SHA and CSA standards regarding infection control during construction and to minimize the impact on patients, residents, staff, and the public. Phase 2, relating to the new construction of the LTC, will be a separate facility. However, during the renovation in Phase 3, the contractor will be required to maintain access from the existing building to the new building.
