Description

The Department of the National Research Council Canada (NRC) and the Herzberg Astronomy and Astrophysics Research Centre (HAA) has a requirement for one (1) Instrument Scientist to provide scientific support for the Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) to the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) located at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, Maryland, USA

The work will involve contributing to the development of the ground system at the JWST Science and Operations Center (S&OC) that supports FGS and the JWST mission.

Contract duration

The estimated contract period will be 21 month(s).
