    Description

    The Department for Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) requires the services of a Senior Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist (ATIP) under the Task-Based Professional Services (TSPS) arrangement to support the processing of a large and complex Access to Information (ATI) request comprising approximately 40,222 pages. The contractor will be responsible for planning, reviewing, consulting on, processing, and releasing records in compliance with the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act, including the coordination of required internal and external consultations and interim releases. The work is being undertaken in response to a complaint/order from the Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada and must be completed by August 1, 2028. The contractor will also develop a project plan with milestones, support WAGE’s ATIP obligations, and provide lessons learned documentation related to the management of voluminous ATI requests within small institutions.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 24 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2026/08/01.
