    Description

    About FCC
FCC is Canada’s leading agriculture and food lender, with a healthy loan portfolio of more than $47 billion. Our employees are dedicated to the future of Canadian agriculture and food. We provide flexible financing, AgExpert management software, information and knowledge specifically designed for the agriculture and food industry. As a Crown corporation, we provide an appropriate return to our shareholder, and reinvest our profits back into the industry and communities we serve. For more information, visit fcc.ca.

    RFP Scope
FCC’s Innovation Lab is a small team of futurists. Their focus is the exploration of changes and disruptions in agriculture, finance, and technology. Using what is discovered, the team creates experiments to further explore concepts and generate learnings. These learnings are shared to enable FCC to effectively continue to serve Canadian Agriculture, both today and tomorrow. Leveraging human centred design, the Innovation Lab designs experiences, solving problems for humans, that can potentially be tested or proven, using new technologies, processes, and/or skillsets.

The Innovation Lab is interested in scaling the quantity of learnings by working with Proponents to leverage broader skill sets, technologies, perspectives, and ideas. To achieve this, it is FCC’s intention to establish a Pre-Qualified List (PQ List) of Proponents that can be engaged to augment the planning, execution and closeout of experiments. Refer to the RFP Scope (Part 4) of the Request for Proposals for further details.
