5P468-23-0022/A Stage 2 - Boom Creek Culvert Replacement, Banff National Park
REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada requires culvert replacement at Boom Creek km 6.9 which includes but is not limited to:
1. Excavation for the installation of a new Precast Concrete Box (PCB) Culvert, removal and disposal of the of the inlet and outlet ends of the existing Corrugated Steel Pipe Arch (CSPA) Culvert, including concrete apron, fill and abandon existing CSPA Culvert in-place with Controlled Low Strength Material and associated road infrastructure.
2. Design-Build, supply, and installation of a new PCB Culvert with an offset to the north of the current CSPA alignment.
3. Construction of temporary detour to accommodate traffic during the culvert construction work.
4. Construction and management of water diversion.
TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS
This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/05/04.
