    Generator Repairs
    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Bath and Millhaven Institutions.
    Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA),
    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
    Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.
    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject
    to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.
    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land
    Claims Agreement.
    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
    Nature of Requirements:
    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to repair or replace two (2) leaking radiators in the
    CUMMINS QSK60-G6 generator that supplies back-up power to both Bath and Millhaven Institutions.
    Objectives: To repair or replace two (2) leaking radiators in the CUMMINS QSK60-G6 generator that
    supplies back-up power to both Bath and Millhaven Institutions.
    Deliverables: include, but are not limited to:
    • Drain the engine coolant from the radiator assemblies.
    • Remove front end enclosure housing panels to permit radiator removal.
    • Remove the two leaking radiators.
    • Repair or replace, or both, the two radiators.
    • Reinstall the two radiators, with full length header plates.
    • Replace all gaskets (fibre) and sealant.
    • Replace all thermostats.
    • Replace all radiator hoses.
    • Supply and fill radiators with new engine coolant.
    • Install two radiator heaters with integral pumps (to reduce thermal expansion shock).
    • Re-assemble enclosure housing.
    • Re-establish necessary connections to ensure generator is operational.
    • Test the generator to ensure all connections have been successfully completed.

    Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none.
