    Description:
    The Department of Agriculture and Agri Food Canada (AAFC), Brandon Research and Development Centre at 2701 Grand Valley Road, Brandon, Manitoba, requires a Contractor to provide Janitorial Services.

    This bid solicitation is to establish a service contract for the delivery of the requirements detailed in the bid solicitation to AAFC, Brandon.

    The contract period will be for one year with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to four additional one-year periods. The anticipated start date is April 1, 2026.

    Security Requirements
    There are security requirements associated with this requirement. The contractor/offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by AAFC.

    Mandatory Site Visit Information
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. local time (CST).

    Bidders to communicate with the Site Authority to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

    Policy on Reciprocal Procurement
    This solicitation of offers is open only to Canadian suppliers (if subject to any international trade agreement(s) and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner.

    Mandatory Technical Requirements
    Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the bid solicitation including the “technical“ and “financial“ evaluation criteria.

    Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the “lowest evaluated price on an aggregate basis” will be recommended for award of a contract.

    SOLICITATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO AAFC AT:
    This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the CPC Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 4 entitled Offer Submission of the bid solicitation, for further information.
