    Description

    BACKGROUND

    The National Capital Commission (NCC) is a federal Crown corporation created by Canada’s Parliament in 1959 under the National Capital Act. Building on more than a century of experience, the NCC provides unique value in the Capital Region by fulfilling three specific roles: long-term planner of federal lands, principal steward of nationally significant public places, and creative partner committed to excellence in development and conservation.

    INTENT

    The NCC is seeking services to remove the existing wooden deck on two pedestrian bridges located on the Lac Leamy pathway and replace it with white oak deck timbers. The work also includes the installation of new structural steel railing post support assemblies including the removal, salvage and reinstallation of the existing railing on the new supports.

Enquiries should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer not being provided. To ensure consistency and quality of the information provided to all Proponents, the Sr. Contract Officer shall examine the content of the enquiry and shall decide whether to issue an amendment. All enquiries and other communications related to this proposal sent throughout the solicitation period are to be directed only to the Sr. Contract Officer named above. Non-compliance with this requirement during the solicitation period can, for that reason alone, result in disqualification of a proposal.
