    Description

    The Canada Pacific Railway (CPR) Overhead Bridge is owned by the National Capital Commission (NCC) and is located on the Kichi Zibi Mikan (KZM) Parkway. The bridge spans the City of Ottawa’s Trillium multi-use pathway and the old CPR railway bed that in the past extended to Chief William Commanda Bridge (formerly the Prince of Wales Bridge) between Ottawa and Gatineau.The bridge is a critical link along the Kichi Zibi Mikan and is currently showing significant structural deterioration. Rehabilitation of the bridge is required to extend the life of the bridge by at least 30 years.
