    Tenders for the project indicated above, will be accepted at the following address, up to the tender closing date and time indicated below: aafc.escprocurement-cseapprovisionnement.aac@agr.gc.ca

    Scope of Work:

    The Sherbrooke Research and Development Center (RDC Sherbrooke) of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), located at 2000 College Street in Sherbrooke, wishes to offer a contract to an electrical contractor for the all of the work below:

    Plan, supply, move and install nine (9) street lights. Two (2) sets of street lights must be installed on site. For the 1st series of street lights, you have to make a distribution network, place the concrete bases, install the poles and install the lights supplied by AAC. For the 2nd series, two (2) existing street lights must be moved and one (1) eliminated.

    Optional Site Visit:

    It is recommended that firms intending to submit a proposal for this project visit the work site. A site visit will be held on Tuesday, August 15 at 3:00 PM local time at the Sherbrooke Research and Development Centre located at 2000 College Street, Sherbrooke, QC J1M 0C8. Participants to the visit will be requested to sign an attendance form. Participants shall present themselves ten minutes before the visit scheduled start time.

    Attendance to this visit is NOT MANDATORY but Firms that do not attend will not be given an alternative appointment, although they will not be precluded from submitting an offer. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation and will be posted on BuyandSell.gc.ca

    Tender Period Closing Date and Time: September 6, 2023 at 02:00 pm (EDT).

    Information requests and inquiries related to this tender process are to be directed, in writing, ONLY to the AAFC Contract Officer identified below. Bidders who contact anyone other than the AAFC Contract Officer to obtain such information during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.

    It is MANDATORY for the Firms intending to submit tenders on this project to obtain the related specifications, plans and drawings, and all other tender documents through the CanadaBuy service provider’s platform. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the CanadaBuy service provider platform.

    AAFC reserves the right to accept any Proposal in whole or in part, without prior negotiation and reject any or all Proposals
    received.
