Fire alarm maintenance service
This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) at the Federal Training Centre 6099 institution and at the Centre de la petite enfance des Câlins in Laval.
Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement.
Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.
Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.
Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.
Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
Nature of Requirements:
The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service of Canada shall establish and maintain a fire safety program at all of its operational sites and services including, at a minimum, a complete annual inspection of the fire alarm system in accordance with standard CAN/UCL 536-04, the repair to deficiencies following inspection and the urgent repair twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Objectives: Maintain the proper functioning of the fire alarm system to ensure the safety of staff, offenders and visitors by reducing the incidence of fire and the resulting in loss of life or property, or both, while maintaining adequate operational security.
Deliverables: Perform preventive and curative maintenance of targeted equipment according to applicable standards. Document maintenance activities so that CSC has appropriate technical knowledge of the condition of said equipment.

Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery:
Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2026 with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods.
