    Solicitation No. T8493-25-0060

    Advance Contract Award Notice

An ACAN is a public notice indicating to the supplier community that a department or agency intends to award a contract for goods, services or construction to a pre-identified supplier, thereby allowing other suppliers to signal their interest in bidding, by submitting a statement of capabilities. If no supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.

    1. BACKGROUND:

Aircraft Services Directorate (ASD) is responsible for the provision of aviation services in support of its operations as well as those of other federal departments and agencies. ASD conducts aerial surveillance patrols in northern Canada. Iqaluit has been determined to be an appropriate geographic location for frequent rest stops and operational administrative support activities.

The flight crew frequently operates outside of the normal operating periods and restaurants are closed. As ASD has no facilities in Iqaluit, accommodations for its personnel as well as secure storage for its aircraft parts and tooling are required.

    2. DEFINITION OF REQUIREMENTS:

Aircraft Services Directorate requires seasonal accommodations for its fixed wing personnel while on operational deployment in Northern Canada.
