    The Contractor must provide two (2) virtual training courses. All training will be provided by facilitators and will consist of lecture, demonstrations, and practice modules. The topics of the courses must include:

    ArcGIS 1 (Introduction to GIS using Arc-GIS Pro):
    1. Introduction to GIS components & capabilities;
    2. GIS Data – use and collection methods;
    3. Managing GIS data;
    4. Exploring coordinate systems – map projections and distortion;
    5. Mapping and visualization;
    6. Understanding GIS Analysis Tools (basic geoprocessing tools); and,
    7. Putting GIS to use – applying the geographic approach.

    Arc-GIS 2 (Arc-GIS Pro Fundamentals):
    1. ArcGIS Pro introduction and features;
    2. Working with GIS data – data storage, location, and properties;
    3. Querying and manipulating data – edit layers and attribute tables;
    4. Symbolizing layers- data visualization, differentiation, and classification;
    5. Controlling feature displays and queries;
    6. Adding text to a map; and,
    7. Creating features from tabular data.

    The Contractor must provide training in English and virtually through public offerings to participants in different time one of Western Canada and Territories Region.

    The training will provide to the analysts of the Strategic Services Branch (SSB) the ability to calculate spatial location and organize layers of information into visualizations using maps and using ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0 and newer versions. With this unique capability, GIS reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations.
