    Description

The department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to review and
analyze confidential industrial energy-use and production data collected by Statistics
    Canada.
In addition, NRCan requires that this detailed information be maintained in a database
so that NRCan can assess and report on the long-term impacts of energy efficiency and
energy consumption trends in Canada’s industrial sectors.
This work is necessary to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and long-term continuity of
energy and production data used by NRCan to monitor energy efficiency trends, assess
greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and evaluate energy consumption in Canada’s
    industrial sectors.
The requirement includes acquiring, reviewing and analyzing preliminary and finalized
energy and production data, preparing confidential datasets and reports. In addition,
the work involves maintaining a secure industrial energy-use and production database,
contributing technical expertise at CIPEC Data Day, and providing factorization analysis
(activity, structure, weather, service level, and capacity utilization effects) to assess
changes in energy use within industrial sub-sectors.

    Contract duration
