Description of Work:
Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) manages Canada's diplomatic and consular relations, promotes the country's international trade, and leads Canada’s international development and humanitarian assistance. DFATD maintains Canadian government offices abroad with diplomatic and consular status on behalf of all government departments.
The Technology-Enabled Business Solutions Innovation & Integration (TEBSII) plays an important role within DFATD by ensuring the protection of systems and information against cyber-attacks and data theft. This responsibility encompasses Cyber Operations; Risk Management Services (Security Assessment and Authorization [SA&A] of existing and future DFATD IT solutions), Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration testing, Strategic IT Security and Planning, Identity and Access Management (IAM), IT Security Engineering and the Architecture of IT Security solutions and controls. These activities secure and protect the sensitive data processed on various DFATD IT infrastructure for both current and future systems.
The Contractor must provide IT security professional services in the National Capital Region (NCR) on a project-based requirement basis. Projects may be in any of the following stages: initiation, planning, implementation and monitoring.
