    Description

    ** The solicitation closing date is hereby extended to October 5, 2023.**

    The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Fort Frances, Ontario Port-of-Entry (POE) requires the replacement of its existing access control system including computers, software, hardware, including all wiring and maintenance services at CBSA Fort Frances POE (Port of Entry, 101 Church Street, Fort Frances, ON, P9A 3X8).

    Additionally, CBSA requires some additions to the existing system to address operational needs that have developed since the original access control system was installed.

    Site Visit:

    A site visit will be available to Bidders on September 20, 2023. Bidders must confirm their attendance to the Contracting Authority before September 18, 2023.

    This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement and, the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement,

    Solicitation documents:

    Only the Notice of Proposed Procurement will be posted on CanadaBuys. The Request for Proposal document will be directly sent to the qualified Supply Arrangement Holders currently holding a Supply Arrangement (SA) series E60HN-200ACS.

    Only qualified Supply Arrangement Holders currently holding a Supply Arrangement for the Ontario region under the E60HN-200ACS series are invited to compete.

    A notice is posted permanently on the CanadaBuys website to allow new suppliers to become qualified.

    Security Requirements:

    The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).

    Debriefings:

    Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 5 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2023/10/17.
