    QUESTIONS TO THE SOLICITATION

    QUESTION 2:
    Concerning the 2.2 Mandatory Site Visit, October 16, 2025 at 10am, can Canada extend the date to communicate attendance to October 16, 2025 at 9am?

    ANSWER 2:
    Yes, Canada will extend the date to communicate attendance.

    QUESTION 3:
    In regards to the specification 4.0 Dry Chemical Packaging, Storage and Handling Requirements “solid chemical feed and control programs for the cooling systems.” Could you please confirm if there is any flexibility on this requirement?

    ANSWER 3:
    There is no flexibility for this specification.

    MODIFICATION TO THE SOLICITATION

    DELETE Section 2.2 Mandatory site visit,
    REPLACE with:

    2.2 Mandatory Site Visit

    The Bidder must attend the mandatory site visit.

    The site visit will be held at 1200 Montreal Road, Building M-6, Door #1, on October 16, 2025, beginning at 10 am EDT, in Ottawa, Ontario.

    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than October 16, 2025, at 9 am EDT to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of their representatives.

    Bidders must sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their offer that they have attended the mandatory site visit.

    Canada will declare non-compliant offers from any Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit.
    Canada will amend the solicitation of offers to reflect clarifications and changes resulting from the mandatory site visit.

    Statement of Work

    BACKGROUND

    The National Research Council Canada’s (NRC), has a requirement for the services of an organization specializing in Process Water Treatment Services, for facilities located at NRC’s Montreal Road Campus, 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa ON. The Water Treatment Services/Program required includes: steam boiler systems, cooling towers, hot water loops, and chilled water loops. These services must also include cooling tower sampling, analysis, and reporting for legionella.

    The estimated contract period will be 52 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/12/01.
