    Description

    The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
    The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement for a qualified contractor to complete building renovations outlined in the consultant’s report and drawings which will include roof work, window replacement, masonry and siding work.
    Objectives: To repair the National Training Academy’s staff lunchroom window to a fully functioning state, as the window has corroded, causing extensive damage to the associated masonry work around the window opening. The repair of the window, associated masonry and installation of new siding and window avoid further damages to the National Training Academy building and mitigate concerning safety issues.

    Deliverables:
    • The Contractor must complete the work as outlined in the Project Specifications and Drawings developed by the Consultant. The work will include, but not limited to, the removal and replacement of the following:
    o roof and substrate repair
    o window replacement
    o repairs to the surrounding areas of the window
    o masonry work with removal of old brick and replacement with siding to match the adjacent building.
    • The Project Specifications and Drawings from the Consultant are provided as a separate document to this Scope of Work.
    • The Contractor must provide all necessary equipment and materials to complete the work as described in the Project Specifications and Drawings.
    • The Contractor must ensure that environmental procedures are followed as per the Project Specifications.
    • The Contractor must allow time to discuss project status with the Project Authority and Consultant through phone, video call or in person, as required.

    Contract duration

    The estimated contract period will be 6 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/09/15.
