Description:
York is inviting proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents for the supply, delivery, and installation of a Laser Metal Deposition (“LMD”) wire-feed 3D printing facility with accessories for the Space Engineering Design Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Lassonde School of Engineering. The facility includes:
(i) a standalone LMD wire-feed multi-metal 3D printer suitable for manufacturing small to medium-sized parts; and
(ii) a robotic LMD wire-feed 3D printing system suitable for manufacturing large and complex parts, in-situ repair, cladding and feature addition.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.
