Regional Aquatic and Wellness Centre Request for Prequalification for Design-Build Contractors

The City of Pembroke is requesting qualification submissions for Design-Build services for the construction of a new Regional Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Pembroke, Ontario. Working for the City of Pembroke, services shall include Design, Construction and Project Close-Out.

To commence this process, a Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) for Design-Builders will be publicly available starting June 22, 2023 from the Project Manager, Rebecca Kulik. Requests for the RFPQ documents are to be submitted through email to rebecca.kulik@colliersprojectleaders.com. Submissions will be due before 2:00:59 PM local time, Thursday, July 20, 2023 in hard-copy format at the address below.

It is the intent of the City of Pembroke to establish a list with up to five (5) Prequalified Respondents in the RFPQ process, who will then be invited to submit a proposal for the Request for Proposal (RFP) for this Project. 

The RFP for Design-Builders is scheduled to be released early September 2023 to the Prequalified Respondents from the RFPQ process. The RFP is expected to close mid-November 2023. Note that the project is expecting to be substantially complete by mid-December 2025.

The City reserves the right to accept or reject any submissions at its sole discretion.
