McMaster University has a requirement for the purchase of a Seahorse XF Pro mitochondrial analyzer. Seahorse XF is metabolic analyzer and most used technology platform for measuring cell metabolism in live cells in real time. In order to fulfill McMaster University’s research needs, the system must analyze major energy producing pathways of the cell – mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis – in living cells, in a microplate, in real time. The system will be used to evaluate metabolic rates in real time.
