Ytterbium Amplified Laser

The instrument to be purchased is an adjustable repetition rate (1 kHz – 1 MHz) Ytterbium amplified laser (1030 – 1045 nm), ~20 W, with pulse duration ≤ 400 fs. The laser will be used for two-dimensional electronic spectroscopy experiments and nonlinear microscopy. Options include second harmonic output from the laser. Installation of the laser, as well as training and warranty must be included. 

Mandatory technical requirements:

1.0 - Ytterbium amplified laser
1.1 Must have wavelength in the range 1020-1050 nm 
1.2 Must have pulse duration of 400 fs or less 
1.3 Must have adjustable repetition rate between 1 kHz to 1 MHz 
1.4 Minimum pulse energies: 
                                                20 mJ at 1 MHz  
                                                120  mJ at 1 kHz 
1.5 Must have RMS stability   ≤ 1% over 100 consecutive hours 
1.6 Must have beam quality: TEM00, M2  ≤ 1.2 

2.0 Other Requirements 
2.1 Installation (remote or in-person) and training must be included. 
2.2 Must include at least one (1) year warranty on parts and labor.  
2.3 Must include air-cooled chiller
