Description

The Work to be done under this Contract shall consist of grade re-construction including solid rock excavation, the placement of crushed rock, processed aggregates, bituminous pavement and the installation of various land drainage devices for the Berens River First Nation Community. The Work is fully detailed in the reference documents on the following page of this Tender.

The Works are located in the Community of Berens River and Berens River First Nation and shall be completed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract.

Section 1 – Provincial Works

Point Road 1
Construction of bituminous pavement including grading, granular base course, solid rock excavation and drainage improvements on Point Road 1, for a total construction distance of 2.9 km, in Berens River First Nation.

North Road 1
Construction of bituminous pavement including grading, granular base course, solid rock excavation and drainage improvements on North Road 1 for a total construction distance of 4.6 km, in Berens River First Nation and the Berens River Community.

South Road 1
Construction of granular base course including grading and drainage improvements on South Road 1 for a total construction distance of 1.3 km, in Berens River Community.

Residential Roadways
Construction of granular base course including minor grading and drainage improvements along various intersecting accesses and roadworks connecting to community roadways for a total construction distance of 3.0 km, in Berens River First Nation.

Section 2 – Federal Works

North Road 1
Construction of bituminous pavement including grading, granular base course, and drainage improvements on North Road 1 for a total construction distance of 0.8 km, in Berens River First Nation.

North Road 3 – 6
Construction of granular base course including grading and drainage improvements on North Road 3 – 6 for a total construction distance of 1.8 km, in Berens River First Nation.

North Road 3 – 8
Construction of granular base course including grading and drainage improvements on North Road 3 – 8 for a total construction distance of 0.6 km, in Berens River First Nation.

South Road 2
Construction of bituminous pavement including grading, granular base course and drainage improvements on South Road 2 for a total construction distance of 3.1 km, in Berens River First Nation.

English Rapid Road 1
Construction of granular base course including grading and drainage improvements on English Rapids Road 1 for a total construction distance of 3.9 km, in Berens River First Nation.

Residential Roadways
