This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by McMaster University to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of strategic campaign marketing, brand building and awareness and media relations services for the forthcoming comprehensive fundraising campaign, the University’s first in over 14 years. University Advancement (UA) at McMaster University is an integrated department that encompasses the areas of Development, Alumni Engagement, Advancement Communications & Donor
Relations, and Advancement Services & Operations, working collaboratively with McMaster’s faculties and units across campus to build relationships and resources on behalf of the University. Over 100 advancement professionals work either directly within central UA or in faculties and units across campus. The team is currently in the “quiet” period of campaign planning, working to build the infrastructure and donor base needed to make it a success. Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted.
McMaster University is seeking a consultant with extensive working experience in public facing branding/storytelling campaigns focusing on brand building and brand awareness, marketing and media relations to support McMaster’s new fundraising campaign. A consultant with experience in the Canadian University sector and specifically McMaster is an asset.
