Description:
The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the provision of The Supply and Install of a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation System, as further described herein.
The successful proponent will supply a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) System designed for non-invasive stimulation of the human brain. The system must be capable of both assessing and modulating brain function, supporting a wide range of neuroscience research applications.
The TMS system will be hosted at the University Hospital, adjacent to the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. It will be utilized by researchers for studies involving healthy individuals as well as patients with epilepsy and other neuropsychiatric disorders. As such, the system must be Health Canada Approved to facilitate research in people with neuropsychiatric disorders.
Budget:
The estimated budget for this project is CAD $145,000 plus HST.
